Yantai Branch of No. 52 Institute founded in 1985 is engaged in research and development of special ceramics, heavy metal materials, powder materials and functional materials. In the above-mentioned fields, we have assumed over 10 nation-level projects successively and got 54 provincial and department scientific fruits. There are 150 scientific staffs and more than 180 sets of top equipments. Insisting on all-sided development direction, we set up Shock Resistance Material Engineering Center, Advanced Ceramics Materials Project Center, Surface Anti-corrosion Project Center, Physical & Chemical Testing Engineering Center, Machinery Processing Project Center, which have not only already had the ability of studying and developing high temperature resistance, anti-corrosion, wearable, surface anti-corrosion and other project parts, but also have the testing ability of physical, chemical and functions. We are trying our best to serve local economy with advantages and contribute all we have to the national strategic defense need and national economy, the development of local economy as well.
