With the powder metal industry's most extensive capacity for spherical gas atomized powders, Carpenter Powder Products (CPP) supplies a wide range of products from advanced aircraft and medical alloys to stainless and tool steels.

CPP is one of the world's most versatile companies for specialty alloys in the form of loose powders and consolidated powder metallurgy (P/M) products. The company focuses on producing gas atomized powders using the combined strengths of the former Dynamet and Anval powder operations in Bridgeville, Pa., and Torshälla, Sweden. A third facility, in Reading, Pa., boasts a state-of-the-art P/M R&D facility.

The list of products and powder types is long and varied: vacuum, air melt, fine, coarse, loose, hot isostatically pressed (HIP'd), HIP'd and hot worked, monolithic and composites and brazing powder. CPP is also a major supplier of both P/M and cast/wrought tool steel and high speed tool steel in the form of steel bars, plate and cut pieces. P/M high speed billets are available from both the U.S. and Swedish facilities.
